servings: 8

prep time: 15 minutes

passive time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste
  • 3/4 cup chocolate protein powder (90 g)
  • 3/4 – 1 cup oat flour (180 – 240 ml)
  • 1/4 cup almond flour (60 ml)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (60 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

toppings:

  • 3 pieces 80% dark chocolate
  • Flaky sea salt
Instructions:
  1. Mash the banana
  2. Add the peanut butter, maple syrup and vanilla and stir
  3. Add the dry ingredients and stir. Depending on the consistency of your peanut butter, you may need more oat flour. Add less first and then add more of needed. You want the mixture to reach dough consistency!
  4. Roll into balls and place them onto a plate lined with parchment paper. Drizzle melted dark chocolate on top and lastly sprinkle flaky sea salt on top
  5. Freeze for 10 minutes so the chocolate sets and enjoy
  6. Store in an airtight container in the freezer. Let the bites defrost for about 10-15 minutes before serving. You can also store them in the fridge. In the fridge they last for a couple of days.
