I am a sweet tooth! I need to have a dessert after dinner! I love creating healthier versions of recipes, so that’s how I came up with this Healthy Protein Chocolate Mug Cake. This mug cake is super fluffy and delicious! The cake is ready in just a few minutes! The recipe is gluten-free and dairy-free!

This Healthy Protein Chocolate Mug Cake is a great snack or dessert!

I used Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder from Happy Way in this recipe! They make the yummiest vegan protein powders I have ever tasted! Their powders are 100% natural and packed with flavor! My favorite flavors have to be the chocolate and peanut butter! Definitely recommend trying their products out! I have used their protein powders in baking and they work very well! Healthy Protein Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Chocolate Protein Powder I used Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder from Happy Way
  • 2 tablespoons gluten-free flour I used almond flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon cacao powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions
 

  • In a mug mix an egg, maple syrup and vanilla extract together.
  • Mix the dry ingredients together. Add the dry ingredients into the mug and mix until smooth.
  • Cook in a microwave for 45 seconds - 1 minute. Top with berries and yogurt or ice cream!
